We both agree, after staying at other places at Trinity,
this is the best so far. Our fishing luck changed drastically
with some of your advice. Besides catching a 3.5 lb. bass
(19"), Trish caught a 3.5 lb. trout (18"). She also
caught two trout in the river. However, this can't compare
to limiting out each day on trout! David has always dreamed
of limiting out like this.
Bob and Linda made it feel like home. Your hospitality made
us feel like part of the family. The next time we come (and
we definitely will) we hope to invite you over for dinner.
Trish makes an adequate chicken marsala. Wether it was unsticking
a stuck trailer, offering fishing advice (for free!), or providing
horses to feed goodies to Bob and Linda made it feel like
home.

Thanks for a wonderful week. We felt like we were living
in a home, not a vacation house. It was so comfortable. We
appreciate all the tips on where to hike, fish, gold pan,
etc. We hope to return someday

Thank you for a wonderful visit! We really enjoyed the peace
and quiet. The kids loved visiting your stretch of the Trinity
River where Nick caught his first fish. He named it Jeffrey
and commented on how tasty Jeffrey was couple of days after
our trout dinner. Kimi loved feeding the horses and taking
walks. Craig and I will miss the view and, of course, the
peace and quiet?

What a wonderful spot along the Trinity River and vista into
the mountains. Your guest house is charming, and we imagined
Gussie here many times. Thank you for your warm hospitality
in a lovely setting. We can hardly wait to come back.

A perfect antidote to Southern California! A magical place
where squirrels sit on you lap and jays land on your shoulder
or head and eat from your hands. Zipper (tame jay) has such
personality. Enjoyed the magnificent hike to Stoddard Lake
as well as the lazy afternoon naps, reading, and excursions
to find the best burger--try Lewiston, the Yellow Jacket,
Mini-Kat and the Forest Cafe. We've had a wonderful week of
vacation! Thank you, Bob and Linda for everything.

After many hours of research, we chose your ranch as our
summer vacation. It was everything we wanted and expected.
The peaceful, laid-back atmosphere coupled with proximity
to recreational activities makes your ranch unbeatable. You
are both so kind and we feel honored to have met you. We would
like to visit again soon. We will keep you close in prayer
and until next time...God Bless!

We were amazed at how nice this home is. I grew up at Trinity
Alps Resort and that was "rustic", this is gracious. "Zipper"
(tame blue jay) made us feel at home. We got much needed rest,
out of all phone range. The north lake was always my favorite
part of Trinity County. We hope to return (if these "cabins"
are ever available, once word get out they won't be!)

Bob and Linda,
We really enjoyed spending our week in your ranch area. It
was very beautiful. You have a wonderful staff. Their attention
to detail and their eagerness to please made this trip more
than memorable. Even though Eliazbeth came here injured, she
still had plenty to do. We did everything as a family and
we became closer for it.
My uncle and I had lots of fun fishing in the river, looking
for gold and all around had fun just riding our bikes on the
ranch. The pasture across the river was as peaceful as you
said and the horses were very friendly.
Thank you for everything,

Bob and Linda:
Thank you so much for sharing your home and making our stay
so wonderful. It was a slice of heaven. Your property is one
of the most beautiful places I have ever visited, and all your
personal touches at the guest house made it that much more special.
We read your Guest Book cover to cover all the while laughing,
smiling and gaining valuable information. And, as we told you,
your hiking, swimming, gold panning and fishing advice was perfect!
After I had to leave I think Todd and the girls even tried the
stocked trout pond you recommended and enjoyed it.
Anyway, it is a time we will all always remember for the rest
of our lives. The kids are anxious to return for a visit next
year and Todd and I wish we could live there!
Best regards,

Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. All of us-Especially
"Bosco"-had a great swim everyday. We enjoyed the puzzles and
Linda's wonderful toffee. Unfortunately, swimming won out consistently
over fishing for our attention! The hole by the bridge is world
class.

Thanks for providing such a great mountain country
retreat. Certainly a great place to recuperate from bike accidents!
Our three boys loved swimming in the river most of all, and
Nancy and I really enjoyed that restful relaxation you look
forward to on a vacation just listening to the water flowing
into the pond. We'll be back!

Thank you so much for your hospitality. You have
a wonderful place. Enjoyed meeting Bill even though I was "skunked"
in the secret fishing hole. Best of luck with "Mickey" (baby
mouse).

Brad and I visited Eagle Creek Ranch on our honeymoon
and it was the best place we could have come! The wilderness
is beautiful and relaxing and the people around here are so
friendly! We enjoyed talking to Bob and Lind - they shared with
us the history of this area and they told us which sights to
be sure and see. We will definitely recommend Eagle Creek Ranch
to our friends and family and will hold fond memories of our
trip forever.

We came from Mountain View for Valentine's Day,
to a place we didn't know much about. We found a magical place,
a beautiful ranch and a comfortable, pretty cabin. We fell in
love with this magnificent area.
We want to thank Linda and Bob for contributing to one of the
most incredible trips of our lives. We wish you the best! We
will surely be back. Hope to see you soon.
